What I Saw on my Walk Today: Flowering Plant Edition
These are things that I saw during my first walk in the neighborhood of my friend R’s house in Okinawa. It is very, very hot. I am incredibly glad that it worked out that I am visiting in the winter, because I think the heat would have just struck me dead should I have come in the summer. I am going to remember this for the future, and if I should ever take it into my head to come during the summer, it is momentary insanity, please restrain me. I need to go on another walk and take photos of the houses, which are so crazy that it is totally awesome. Because there are so many typhoons, they are all made from concrete, sometimes painted, sometimes just regular concrete colour, however, they are all in the most insane shapes every. Several with watch towers.
